SO... YOU WANT TO BE A WARRIOR?
(Got to get a few things straight first)
Please, Pay attention to the BOLD writing as you read through.
-Warriorism isn't a prophecy of hatred and war mongering, but, isn't frowned upon when towards evil and evil people. But all actions must be rational.
-Warriorism isn't an anti-religion system either, even though I am a strong atheist, a Warrior excepts everyone's choices, unless they are: provoking, forceful or dangerous, then action must be taken.
-Warriorism is strictly about betterment of ourselves.
-Warriorism isn't about physical fighting 24/7! I am not advertising Violence and if you do say your a part of the Warrior Order and get in fights for it all the time for no reason, you will be banned. Warriorism is about peace and advancing yourself on the inside and outside. Yes, it is about learning how to fight, what warrior doesn't know how to fight? The main thing is, Warriors know WHEN to fight..
-Warriorism isn't a cos-play larping fest, it is serious and a very challenging way of life, no time for dress up unless you are putting on training gear for your next session of whatever.
-Warriors are like the hidden vigilantes in every society.
-Warriors are different, they stand out and not afraid to either. WE are WOLVES.
Warriors should aim for a clear and relaxed mind through Meditation, this is very important and must be pursued. You need a clear and relaxed mind in-order to face life's challenges correctly. Now the Meditation can be 15 minuets a night, 15 minuets a morning, not hours long, obviously you can, but I find more peace in my Dojo's training with my fellow students and masters. Just relax, deep breaths, relaxing music (like Slipknot \m/) and shut your eyes and loose yourself. The web has plenty of info on Meditation, please search around.
Warriors should aim for physical capabilities of most, if not all tasks. I encourage any exercise and weight system/program you choose to become as fit as you choose. If you must fight, yo must be ready for a mental challenge, or a physical one, hopefully, the later option more than an actual fist fight, so to be prepared for both is a must have. More explained below.- I also have to admit my own physical capabilities to you, but that can be found in the "Can anyone be a warrior?" section in the "more" tab.
Warriors must stay connected to the life energy of everything in the world, it controls all we know and all we do, it can find a way for us too, another reason for relaxation and meditation- t stay connected to feel it flow through you.
The Warrior Order is strictly for those who or wish to; fight for Justice, fight for the defense of the weaker among us, Fight for the protection of Animals, Fight for the planet, live a peaceful life but to never be afraid to fight, become spiritual, study Martial Arts or fighting systems, are tough in anyway (physically, Mentally, Spiritually), fit and healthy, are ready to become Men, Are ready to become Women.
This belief system is also a way of becoming; a real, genuine person with; dreams that can be achieved no matter what, with a good heart, with a strong and powerful feel around them, with a personality to admire. Lets not forget that this path will lead you to greater things and could even be the way of finding out who your true friends are, who will stick around when you isolate yourselves a little bit, more explained below.
I have a strict rule that to understand what it is to be a warrior today, you need to learn a Fighting System/Martial Art. That can be through anything; Army training, Security Guard training, Police training, etc. Any Martial Art that teaches; Self discipline, Body Hardening, Practical Self Defense, Fighting Methods, Competitions, etc.
The Path
The Warrior path is a very long, lonely process. No point in lying about it. You will have to isolate yourself a lot in-order to learn more about yourself when your alone, you will need to take time to; sit quietly by yourself, walk alone, travel alone, stay at home to just... think. These things you'll think of are questions like; "Who am I?", "What do I want?", "What can I become?". And that's very important. The more you do that, the more you'll set goals, the more goals requires more time to yourself to get them, in this time you will see who your true mates are, if your lover is understanding enough of your life to let you have this time, if your comfortable in a certain place, etc.
Big Warning. This will cause a lot to happen to your mind, you will remember some darker things from the past, feel awful about things happening in the present, predict things in the future, feel like an outcast as people leave you because "YOU CHANGED". This is a very painful process and will last a long time, but if you can get through it, you are already a Warrior. If you can cope with all of that, you are on your way to becoming a changed, battle hardened- tough guy or gal.
(You don't have to read this next bit, but it shows where I got the first part of the path from)-
I had this part of the path forced upon me, through out school I had the same mates for the length of my education (10/11 years) added a few more as I got into the local community College and new them all for 5 years. I did everything for them, I was the loyal bitch to each of them, I had two groups of friends at once, I was pretty popular and liked, not going to lie. But not-one of us where Chav's or think we where cool kinda people, we were the most "normal" people around . The second friend group I had used to go to the beach regularly and took me a long, had sleep overs and all sorts, we started hanging out more and I fell in love with the only girl in the group, and she felt the same towards me (awwh..)- from now on she will be referred to as "My girl" coz I don't want to name her- this brought all closer, other then one prick getting jealous, but that's to far off track with this story. I was suffering with depression at this time too so it really helped- (although only my girl tried to help with it, the other didn't- that's another story) My first friend group never invited me out, but I still spent time with them through college so they didn't care, in fact they where happy that I was with the others. So know hate can from this, me and my girl basically lead the group, took them all over the place, then we would pack our bags and travel 100 miles to my dad's place and have a week there and let the guys do whatever. EVERYTHING WAS WORKING SO WELL. I had so much company, so many good memories, so many good people and I had just started (2/3 months in) Aikido with my old club too.
A few months later, my second and main friend group split over something, but we where all mates and I returned to spending time with my first group with my girl during lunch and general break's, me and my girl would spend time together outside of school doing what the group used to do, so things where still good, lost one mate and that was it. as we neared the end of school, me and my girl split badly, depression came back, distance was made between both groups because no one seemed to care. Finished all my exams (did very well) and left school, One morning in the summer I woke up to not a single text from anyone- that wasn't normal. So I said to myself, lets see where this leads. It took a month before anyone messaged me again, I had to go through Facebook like everyday and see BOTH my friend groups join together and have good times like I used to be part of, I was angry, sad, alone. People messaged me because "prom" was coming up... "Oh great".. me and my buddy from the first group, who I've known the longest both went together in my Step-dads car, met up with everyone like nothing happened and had a good night. Woke up the next morning and realized, "That was only because I was there." "It's time to test myself, them and everyone else". I was angry, I wouldn't make the effort ANYMORE! I had the guy I went to Prom with let me down twice over the next few months, my Ex kept coming and going, various other crap happened, my mentor, one of my only best-friend's and Aikido teacher past away, all I had was family and all the Guys from Martial Arts who where each like 20 years older than me, and that was it. I made this choice around May 20th 2013, it's now currently May 24th 2014, still alone! Only have part time mates now, who all change through courses at the new college we all attend, My best mate is a guy called Bret, he's 37, but like my big brother, and I have my family and all the other guys from my Martial Arts clubs who are the most loyal bastards ever, but still now I wish had people my age who where always there, you know?
But, all of this happening proved that I wasn't cared about, wasn't thought about, could of been on the other-side of the globe and know one would of noticed, and it helped me know who where FAKE and I don't need those people. EVER. I became an Outcast though, very badly, no-one pays attention to me now, but little do they know that I AM A WOLF, and I'm close to revealing my full potential. - I am a real LONE WOLF.
Your next step in the path is to work on yourself, craft a new you. You have the time, you have the methods, you have the way of the Warrior.
Here are a few ideas- You can use these as foundations, ideas, you can do what you want with them.
1. Go to the gym and get that monster body you always wanted.
2. Learn a Martial Art/Fighting system.
3. Have a full personality change to show those who doubt you that you have a new attitude now.
4. Becoming peaceful yet be totally ready to strike- this makes you mysterious.
5.Become a Warrior.
Now, In order to become a warrior, you must either:
1. Follow the teachings here and craft your own path that way.
2. Learn from the historic warriors that are the reason we are here today, and add their teachings to mine.
3. Choose a fictional Warrior group or individual Warrior, You may admire their character and they may have great messages like the Jedi or Rambo, just please be aware that the resources for fictional characters are slim and you may need to add no.2 on to this as-well as no.1 in order to learn fully.
4. You can follow the lives of actual "Modern Day Warriors" like UFC/MMA Fighters, Pro Wrestlers, Action Movie Stars and Martial Artists, BUT- You must take them as idols, and only idols and sources to learn off of, not gods (we don't have Gods!) or as the image of this belief system, you must learn the warrior code by yourself and understand your own path, know that they are on their own path and may not think of themselves as warriors anyway, so can't be good examples for future teaching or to further yours, if you get what I mean. For this step, you need to pick 1 or 2, maybe even a dozen people, it's up to you, then find out why they are warriors, then find out their views on life, then find out their personalities, then add no.1 and maybe no.2 onto all of that- A load of work.
Here is a greater example.See most of my teachings are close to the way the Samurai used to live. I think they where the most honorable and peaceful, yet dangerous and skilled warriors of all time. I also love Vikings, Saxons, Barbarian tribes and Knights. So I wish to become a total bad-ass tough guy, someone who isn't afraid of anyone, majorly tough and can really fight, a warrior with a cause and still have a more of a calm and peaceful outlook.- Sort of like Rambo from the Rambo films, more so Rambo 4.
So, I am in the process of building muscle, learning to fight, having little remorse, soon starting Security Guard Training, meditating when I feel I need to, thinking before acting, being rational, not letting little things turn into bigger things, not being so attached, thinking more, being rational, becoming more independent, acting alone, becoming a proper lone wolf and more!
